Perfect to a bounty breakfast or a fast dinner, these scones are very tasty due to portuguese sausage and seasonings. Serve warm as soon as remove them from the oven.
10g dried onion flakes
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
100g butter, in room temperature
1 large egg
100g portuguese sausage, shredded
Preheat the oven to 390˚F.
In a bowl, mix flour, onion, baking powder, salt, oregano and pepper. With a fork, rub the butter in the dried ingredients. Stir in buttermilk, egg and sausage. Do not overmix.
With the help of two spoons, make the scones and bake for 20 minutes. Serve immediately.
