CHOCOLATE-CINNAMON COOKIES

For this recipe of cookies you don't need to have cookie cutters or ability to mold the cookies. The cinnamon makes the cookies delicate, too aromatic and special. They are chewy as cake, perfect with a coffee or tea.

100g butter
180g sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
270g flour
40g cocoa powder
1 tsp cinnamon powder
1 tsp baking powder

Directions
Preheat the oven to 375˚F. Line Sift a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Sift the flour, cocoa, cinnamon and baking powder. Set aside.
Cream butter, sugar and salt together until is creamy and fluffy. Beat in one egg at a time, beating well after each addition. Add sifted ingredients and beat just until is smooth.
With two teaspoon, make small balls and place into the baking sheet. Bake for about 10 minutes. Let cool on a rack.

Yield: 70 cookies.

  1. I bet the flavor of these is similar to Mexican hot chocolate -- which is a favorite of mine! They look cakey and delicious!
