Actually is hard to find a house

can in storage. Beans, tomato
sauce, salmon, corn, whatever.
Open it without a special tool,
no way! Have you seen
somebody opening a can with
a knife? I did, it's a painful
work! If you don't have your
can opener, buy it. It's a very
practical and useful gift to
the cook.

ReplyDeleteI have a can opener that separates the can at the rim; it doesn't cut a circle out of the top. It saves becoming cut on sharp edges.
You're right. A can opener is a very useful gadget.
My favorite kitchen tool, though is my food plane. Love it, love it, love it.
