CAN I FREEZE BANANA?

Versão em Português
Versión en Español

Although some sources say you can't freeze banana, Chocorango says yes, you can. You can freeze the whole banana without the skin to eat cold, still froze. You can freeze it cut into cubes to prepare a banana smoothie. You can freeze it mashed with a little sugar. For those reasons don't be afraid to freeze banana.

  1. Other than smoothies, what else do you usually do with frozen banana?

  2. aaaahhh, I didn't know to freeze without the peel. Now I know. The only time I tried freezing bananas the skin turned an ugly, unappealing black. Never tried to freeze them since. Now I will. Thanks!

  3. I love frozen banana pops, dipped in chocolate and rolled in nuts. It is my favorite fair food. Thanks for reminding me of them! Beautiful photos as usual.

  4. Seeing the comment from Karen reminds me that when the children were small I used to make frozen banana pops.
