SNICKERDOODLES


The snickerdoodles are cookies that were rolled in sugar and cinnamon before baked. The consequence is aromatic, chunk cookies. They're great to give as a gift to friends.








130g sweet butter
180g sugar
1/4 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
310g flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
Sugar and cinnamon to sprinkle

Directions
Cream together the butter, sugar and salt until is creamy and pale. Add one egg at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla extract and beat a little more.
Add flour and baking soda and beat just until is smooth. Chill for 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 350˚F. Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper.
Make small balls with the dough and roll in sugar and cinnamon. Place the balls in the pan leaving a space between them. Bake for about 12 minutes. Let cool on a rack and store in an airtight container.

Cook's tip: Don't overbake the cookies to not too dry and hard.

Yield: About 35 cookies.
